Can you charge subscriptions?

Check this only if you plan to charge members and lock videos behind paid access. A free video site does not require a subscription processor; other legal and hosting requirements still apply.

Important: Being able to apply is not the same as being approved. Providers review your actual content, business registration, operating location, banking, website and documents. Citizenship alone does not decide eligibility. OFOY cannot obtain or guarantee a merchant account for you.

The five profiles below

For each profile, the company's actual country and the location of its principal or director matter more than a passport alone.

Check an adult-content provider first.

Do not assume a US company automatically qualifies if you run it from another country.

Publishes merchant regions and accepts companies or sole proprietors.

Published rules

1 · US company: Can apply when the company, principal and business bank are in the US.
2 · US sole proprietor: Can apply from the US with a US principal and business bank.
3 · Non-US sole proprietor: Can apply only from a listed country, with principal and bank there.
4 · Non-US company: Same listed-country rule: company, principal and bank must align in the same supported country.
5 · Non-US owner of US LLC: A US LLC alone is not enough. CCBill also publishes a US-principal and US-bank requirement.

Publishes an adult-site checklist, including registration and local presence.

Published checklist

1 · US company: Can ask to be reviewed when a director is in the US and material US presence can be documented.
2 · US sole proprietor: Confirm directly. The public adult checklist does not establish a general sole-proprietor rule.
3 · Non-US sole proprietor: Confirm directly; no general country-by-country sole-proprietor approval is published.
4 · Non-US company: The checklist identifies US, EU or UK registration, with a director and material presence in the registration country.
5 · Non-US owner of US LLC: The LLC alone is not enough if a US director and material US presence cannot be shown.

This is an application checklist, not a promise of approval. It also calls for a live site, age verification, clear pricing, policies and review access. Segpay announced an Australia expansion; confirm whether onboarding there is active before relying on it.

Verotel

Processes high-risk online entertainment and supports recurring subscriptions. Its public pricing states that Basic and Premium accept merchants worldwide.

1 · US company: Can apply. Verotel requests company, country, website and business information and makes the approval decision.
2 · US sole proprietor: Confirm directly. Verotel's public pages do not publish a separate sole-proprietor eligibility rule.
3 · Non-US sole proprietor: Confirm country and legal-structure eligibility directly; worldwide merchant availability does not guarantee approval for every structure.
4 · Non-US company: Can apply under Verotel's published worldwide merchant availability, subject to company, website and compliance review.
5 · Non-US owner of US LLC: Ask Verotel how to present the company's ownership and actual operating country; its public pages do not publish a rule for this specific profile.

Verotel publishes Basic for new subscription businesses and Premium for established or higher-volume merchants. Published availability describes who may apply, not guaranteed approval.

SFW subscriptions

Check the provider and your actual business model.

A non-explicit site still needs a supported country, identity checks and approval for how it sells access.

Stripe

Available only in its published countries and subject to business verification.

SFW only

1 · US company: Can apply if it meets US account and business-verification requirements.
2 · US sole proprietor: Can apply with the required US physical presence and personal verification.
3 · Non-US sole proprietor: Only where Stripe supports accounts in the country of business; local individual-business rules apply.
4 · Non-US company: Only where Stripe supports business accounts in the country of registration and operation.
5 · Non-US owner of US LLC: May apply as a registered US business if it provides the required real business details and passes verification; the LLC alone is no guarantee.

A platform distributing other creators' content and paying them may require additional review even if the content is SFW. Stripe prohibits payment for explicit adult content.

1 · US company: Ask for the gateway and a compatible merchant account with an acquiring provider.
2 · US sole proprietor: Confirm gateway and acquiring-account eligibility for your business.
3 · Non-US sole proprietor: Confirm country, structure and acquiring provider directly before buying.
4 · Non-US company: Confirm directly; Authorize.net's public pages differ on availability outside the US and Canada.
5 · Non-US owner of US LLC: A US LLC does not by itself provide the merchant account or guarantee gateway acceptance.

If no provider will approve your subscription business

You can still use a free site. Do not buy OFOY assuming paid memberships will be available merely because you formed a company or purchased the software. Speak with a compatible provider about your real content and operating location first.
